FAQs

Q?

What can I do to help?

A.

The biggest thing anyone can do these days is signal boost. More or less this just means sharing with everyone in your circles how excited you are about my work. You can also check out a blog post I wrote on this very subject.

So just how can you signal boost?

  • Subscribe to my newsletter.
  • Follow me on Twitter.
  • Like my Author Page
  • Repost/Retweet/Share my updates on Social Media as you get them.
  • Consider writing a testimonial for my site.
  • Tell your friends and family about my site and my books.
  • Buy my work for a friend or family member as a gift.
  • Post reviews (hopefully positive) of my books on Amazon and Goodreads

Q?

When is your next book coming out?

A.

At this time my first novel, Basilisk, is being shopped to editors and agents. Hopefully after the first of the year 2017 I will have more information regarding the publishing plan. Subscribe to my blog newsletter to keep up to date on what's going on.

You can also check out my Current Projects page, for the latest updates on any of my work and when they are due to be released.

Q?

I’ve already signed up for your newsletter, how do I get a free copy of your ebook?

A.

When I release the sample eBook chapter of my first novel, Basilisk, I will be sending out newsletter information along with instructions on how to download your free copy. At that time I should also be sending out a specific email to those already subscribed to my mailing list with download instructions. If you haven't received your copy though, don't worry. Simply shoot me a message on the contact page, and I will get you your copy.

Thanks for your loyalty!

Q?

With a full time job, spouse, three kids and a farm, how do you find time to write?

A.

This one's pretty easy to answer. I don't get enough sleep, and everyone in my life is disappointed in me.

Q?

Where do you get your ideas?

A.

I think there are a couple key elements in my life that help me develop story ideas:

  1. A dark sense of humor.
  2. A pessimistic view of life.
  3. A limited amount of human empathy.
  4. Mountain Dew.
