That is the first word that comes to mind when I read Charlie’s writings, whether it be short stories, novels(well beta reads at least), or his blog. His ability to pull you into a story is remarkable. His descriptive writing is crisp and concise, yet beautiful at the same time. I have enjoyed his humor and raw sincerity often in the same blog post. Now just publish that book already so you can further your journey begun years ago. I eagerly await!

J. Arden Scott, YA Fantasy Author

I've been a beta reader for all of Charlie's stories, and it's been great to watch him develop as a writer. I love his blog posts and the way he doesn't take himself or his online presence too seriously. I loved his first novel, Basilisk and I'm anxiously awaiting the second installment.

Bilbo Baggins, Short of stature, but stands tall anyway

Charlie's blog was recommended to me by a friend and after reading: "A Father's Advice to Uncle Betz" I was hooked. I don't know when I've laughed so hard. Also you can't tell, but I am choking to death the person in the background of my photo.

Bambi the death troll, I like to kill people

I'm not really all that old, but you might have noticed by my picture that I am a bit of a snob. Everywhere I look people disappoint me. No one is as interesting as I am.
